Drone planes are a show of weakness... It means someone is so afraid they need to send unmanned aircraft to spy. It may also have been a test of their defenses , to see what iran throws at air space invaders. Maybe it was a present from the USA military to Iran to potentially make stealth missiles? Who knows?
