A Sony a200, a300 would be a good option. You can pick them up on eBay for around about £200 with the standard kit lens. As with anything though, you get what you pay for.

FYI I have a GF2k and The touch screen works flawlessly after about an hour of getting familiar with it. 4:20 Wipe your greasy fingers off, it won't respond if your fingers, or the screen is greasy. I use this camera for astrophotography, Because you can't strap a huge SLR onto a telescope and expect it to balance out. And with it's touch screen interface, its really quite easy to adjust while its on the telescope

No. Its a compact system camera, is which similar to digital point and shoot camera but also similar to dslr as it's able to change lenses and has bigger sensors. Basically it does what dslr does but it has no mirror.

I just got this camera, for $345. It's worth it and it's fun doing the touch focus and touch to shutter :] it's a fun camera! Of course you can definitely take great looking shots.

Just bought myself ...
Just bought myself a Red Gf2 with 14mm lens. I already own the GF1 and wanted the 14mm lens. The GF2 and lens was only £256 so i bought it. The lens normally sells for £160 so ive got a spare camera body. The touch screen is a nice idea and there is certainly a difference in video quality to my GF1. The menu system on the screen is very easy to use and the screen on mine is responsive but that 14mm lens is a crystal clear and pin sharp. I will still use my GF1 but with the 14mm
