The title track "Neil and Jack and me" is obviously a nod to the beat generation and it´s brightest shining stars Neil Cassady and Jack Kerouac. And the beats were into zen. "Satori in Tangier" also gives a clue, as the Moroccan city Tangier attracted prominent beat writers as Kerouac, Burroughs and Ginsberg. So, "Bongofury", you´ve got a point...

Fuck, I have to remember to pause or type faster when making a comment on one of the videos on my playlist! I get half way through the comment, and then it goes to another video. Anyway, I wanted to say that the album cover are intended to be zen-like in simplicity, which I attribute to Adrian Belew, though I am speculating. Keep in mind, this is an entirely NEW incarnation of KC (and the most prolific), and I think the album covers are appropriate for the music contained!
